CFP Insanity On Full Display

10 years. That is how long it took for us to see the committee make the most controversial decision in the playoff's history. Yes, there have been controversial decisions before but nothing to the magnitude of leaving out an undefeated Power 5 conference champ like they did with the Florida State Seminoles.

But here we are. FSU is dropped from 4 to 5 after winning the ACC Championship and Bama jumps from 8 to 4 after their win over the #1 Georgia Bulldogs. There is A LOT to say and discuss about this and I will have a more in depth look at it later. For now though just look at what the SENATOR from the state of Florida sent to CFP Chairman Boo Corrigan to see just how insane this whole thing is.

Best teams vs. most deserving, that seemed to be the argument of the day on Sunday but neither one actually gets you to the 4 teams selected. If you make those two arguments alone then you get 2 very different playoff top 4's. (More on that later).

This whole thing stinks. It wreaks. SEC/ESPN collusion? Wouldn't take that thought off of the table (in fact Rick Scott seems to be hinting in that direction in his letter). Is Bama really better than FSU? We are all 99.9% sure butttttt....who knows!

What will come of this? Probably a whole lot of nothing but hey, I'm here for the drama in this last year of the 4 team format. Let's all kick back, dig into the popcorn, and watch the drama unfold!
